The excuses that is destroying your dreams

We all have dreams that we want to achieve in life but how often have that dream been forgotten?

Here are 5 excuses that will kill your dream.

  1. I don’t know how

We are not born with knowledge.

No one is born as an expert in doing something.

When you think about it, what is the definition of an expert?

Is it the qualification that is required for someone in a certain field?

Or is it because someone is good at doing something?

In simple terms, an expert is someone who has a special skill in a particular field.

This means that the skill the possess is learned or obtained.

So you can also obtain the same skill if you want to.

In the online business field, you can be an expert if you have the ability to help other people with something.

For example, if someone wants to start a blog and you know how to do it.

You can teach them.

You are an expert to them.

Get the point?

  1. Am I too young? I am already too old.

Age has no role to play when it comes to realising your dream.

What you need is the desire and energy.

There are so many young entrepreneurs out there today.

Look at the founder of Facebook.

He did it when he is still in college.

Did he think that he was too young?

I doubt so.

The same thing goes if you think you are too old.

Age does not matter.

  1. Everyone tells me to get a ‘real job’.

Well, you will come across this excuse pretty often.

Every person in the world is unique and we all have different thoughts.

However, the majority of people will have a certain way of thinking because of the education system that brought us up.

But then, what is a real job?

Is it a 9-5 working hour job?

Is it a job with a secure income?

Is it a job behind an office desk?

Or is it a job that offers good pay?

What if your dream is able to provide you with a great amount of income but it is not a 9-5 job?

Is it still a real job?

  1. I am going to fail

This is a very common excuse that we get all the time.

From what I have monitored, people are often afraid of making mistakes.

We are taught to avoid making mistakes.

However, it is through mistakes that great things happen.

Take the invention of the light bulb by Thomas Edison.

How many mistakes did he made?

If he did not continue making mistakes, would we be enjoying his invention now?

So never be afraid of making mistakes of to fail.

There is a saying, ‘failure is the mother of success’

  1. I don’t have time

This is one the best excuses.

So many times have I heard this excuse.

I have no time to exercise.

I have no time to learn etc.

Has it ever come across to you that we all have the same amount of time in our hands?

24 hours.

No matter if you are Bill Gates or Mr Jones from somewhere in Kentucky.

We all have 24 hours a day

It is up to us to make use of that time to do whatever we think we need to do.

We will only run out of time if we are not using our time well or we have to much work to do.

The latter will be a better choice because it shows that you are working on something.

So there you have it, some of the excuses that are keeping us away or destroying our dreams.
